Oyster, the leading global employment platform backed by Silver Lake Waterman, has appointed Geraldine MacCarthy as Chief Revenue Officer in partnership with Faraday Partners. In a comprehensive global search targeting transformative commercial leaders in high-growth SaaS and HR Tech categories led by Andrew Banks, Managing Partner, and Jack Mahoney, Principal, at Faraday Partners, Geraldine proved to be the standout candidate to take Oyster on its next phase of growth towards category leadership.
An accomplished commercial executive with more than two decades of experience scaling international GTM operations, Geraldine brings deep expertise in building and leading high-performing teams across sales, customer success, and partnerships. Most recently, she served as Chief Revenue Officer at Personio, one of Europe’s leading HR software platforms, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid expansion across Europe to unicorn status. Prior to that, Geraldine was a key early executive leader growing Dropbox’s international business, serving as Head of EMEA, and also held senior go-to-market roles at Google earlier in her career.
At Oyster, Geraldine reports directly to Tony Jamous, CEO and focuses on accelerating global revenue growth, scaling go-to-market operations, and deepening customer engagement across key markets. Her experience in building and leading high-performing commercial teams at hypergrowth companies aligns seamlessly with Oyster’s mission to shape the future of distributed work.
The assignment was led by Andrew Banks, Managing Partner and Jack Mahoney, Principal at Faraday Partners.
