Voggt, the leading online marketplace for collectibles and pop culture, has appointed Samuel Raciti as its new VP Commercial to spearhead its expansion across Europe.
Voggt is an online marketplace where collectibles and pop culture enthusiasts meet to connect and trade items in categories such as fashion (sneakers, streetwear, vintage), sports, music, trading cards games and many others. Voggt’s mission is to define the gold standard of social commerce – via a highly-engaging, hyper-social, live stream shopping platform.
Having raised a large seed round from tier-1 global investors – and being the first player in a completely new category in Europe – Voggt’s founding team and investors appointed Faraday Partners to help attract a seasoned VP Commercial with a clear track record of launching and scaling highly efficient, operationally intensive, consumer businesses at international market scale.
Following a European wide search, Voggt appointed Samuel Raciti as VP Commercial in order to strengthen its footprint in France and rapidly launch across Europe with a key focus on the UK, Germany and Southern Europe. Samuel joins Voggt from Bolt, where he initially led their Australian launch before helping with their UK debut and subsequently leading Bolt across UKI & Germany – its two larger largest markets.
The assignment was led by Thomas Chorliet, Managing Partner at Faraday Partners. Thomas also supported Voggt across Engineering, Product and Finance hires, bringing in a first layer of hands-on leadership to each of these functions.
