TourRadar, an online marketplace for multi-day travel experiences, appoints Jakson Peters as Chief Financial Officer, facilitated by Faraday Partners.
TourRadar, an online marketplace for multi-day travel experiences, has appointed Jakson Peters as their Chief Financial Officer based in Vienna, Austria in partnership with Faraday Partners. Following a global search campaign covering vertical-specific online marketplaces, the broad travel technology ecosystem and high-growth SaaS companies, Jakson’s experience in the growth of Property Finder, the Middle-East’s largest real estate classified platform, proved compelling to the opportunities ahead for TourRadar. Candidates were considered at a global scale and Jakson was relocated from Dubai, UAE to Vienna, Austria to commence this role.
Reporting to Travis Pittman, CEO and Founder of TourRadar, the right Chief Financial Officer appointment was fundamental to the evolution of their proposition as the global travel category continues the recovery and repositioning from the pandemic. Determining the appropriate business model and strategy to address a largely underserved B2B offering through the travel experience category presented an opportunity to structure and orientate the financial operations and growth trajectory of TourRadar in a vital period.
Faraday Partners worked closely with the teams at TCV and Speedinvest on this key assignment. The process was led by Nick Fairclough, Managing Partner at Faraday Partners.
