Following the successful hire of Paul Gaskell as Technical Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Faraday Partners continued its collaboration with Avantia Law by working closely with COO Hannah Thompson to hire Rebecca Luo as their first VP of Finance.
Based in London with a growing presence in the United States, Avantia Law is embarking on a pivotal phase of growth and transformation. Rebecca Luo’s appointment comes at a crucial juncture as the company seeks to enhance its financial operations and drive strategic initiatives to support its ambitious expansion plans.
Bringing a wealth of experience and a proven track record in financial leadership roles across diverse industries, Rebecca is poised to play a pivotal role in Avantia Law’s journey toward global prominence.
Rebecca joins Avantia Law from Freetrade, where she served as Director of Finance, overseeing financial strategy and operations during a period of rapid growth and expansion. Prior to her tenure at Freetrade, Rebecca held key positions at Wildstone and KPMG UK, where she honed her expertise in financial planning and analysis, corporate development, and transaction services.
As Vice President of Finance at Avantia Law, Rebecca will collaborate closely with the leadership team, including CEO and Founder James Sutton, to provide strategic direction and leadership in financial management. Her role will be instrumental in fostering a culture of financial excellence, driving operational efficiency, and supporting Avantia Law’s overarching mission to transform the legal services industry.
