GoCardless, the leading payment processing platform that aims to be the “World’s Bank Payment Network”, has appointed Yasmin Sharp as Vice President of Business Development & Partnerships. In this role, Yasmin will report to Chief Growth Officer Jolawn Victor and work closely with CEO Hiroki Takeuchi as well as President Paul Stoddard. This strategic appointment was facilitated by Faraday Partners, with the search led by Managing Partner Nick Fairclough and Principal Jack Mahoney. Yasmin’s expertise in partnerships, with a focus on partner acquisition and management, within the fintech and payments industries made her the standout candidate for this critical role.

Yasmin is a partnerships expert and brings over a decade of experience in the function with a spike in payments. She has successfully built out and scaled extensive ecosystems – including referral and strategic partners – across multiple industries. Most recently, she served as VP of Partnerships at Dojo, where she oversaw transformative collaborations that drove business growth and enhanced customer experiences. Prior to Dojo, she held the role of Global Head of Partnerships at SAP Customer Experience. She also spent time at Worldpay, PayPoint and before that, Sage Pay, where she gained a deep understanding of client needs and market trends particularly in the SMB segment.

At GoCardless, Yasmin will focus on expanding the company’s global partnerships to enhance its market presence and drive growth in the fast-evolving payments landscape. She will be instrumental in forging strategic alliances that complement GoCardless’ core offerings and align with its mission of simplifying recurring payments for businesses worldwide.

The assignment was led by Nick Fairclough, Managing Partner and Jack Mahoney, Principal at Faraday Partners.
