Samaipata, an early-stage founders’ fund investing in digital businesses with network effects across Europe, has appointed Irene Gentili as Investment Manager, in partnership with Faraday Partners. At Samaipata, which manages over $150 million in investments and operates from offices in Madrid and London, Irene will play a critical role in identifying and supporting ambitious founders across Europe.

Before joining Samaipata, she was an Associate at Speedinvest in Berlin, where she spent two years honing her expertise in venture capital and early-stage investments, with a focus on marketplaces. Prior to that, Irene served as an Investment Analyst at Redstone, where she gained valuable analytical experience.

A graduate of Esade with a Master of Science in International Management and Università Bocconi with a Bachelor of Science in International Economics and Management, Irene’s academic credentials and language skills complement her professional experience, positioning her as a valuable addition to Samaipata’s European team.

This key appointment was led by Thomas Chorliet, Managing Partner at Faraday Partners, and marks a significant step in Samaipata’s strategy to expand its team.
