Faculty today (Monday 6th February) announces the exciting appointment of new Chief Product Officer, Jacob Sullivan.
As Faculty’s first Chief Product Officer, Jacob will focus on accelerating the growth of Frontier, Faculty’s decision intelligence product.
As an entrepreneur and business executive, Jacob brings more than 15 years of experience founding and maturing technology startups. Jacob has spent much of his career driving customer-centric AI products from concept to launch and building strategic partnerships to support business growth and competitive advantage.
Jacob was previously the Head of Product for the AI DevOps group at AWS, leading teams across multiple product lines that use machine learning and automated reasoning to help customers build and manage modern cloud-based applications. Jacob also co-founded machine learning start-up, Magic AI, in Seattle, WA and previously worked as an executive for the technology investment and development firm Intellectual Ventures.
Jacob said: “Faculty is providing customers with valuable new insights through their decision intelligence product, Frontier. I am excited to join and help accelerate the deployment of Frontier to a broader market so that more customers can benefit from better decision making.”
Faculty has a proven track record in delivering award-winning, transformational AI projects and last year launched its decision intelligence product, Frontier. Frontier is already being used across different industries, including in the NHS in Wales where it is helping doctors and nurses better manage patient discharge planning. Jacob will play a pivotal role in shaping up Frontier’s market fit going forward, ensuring its benefits extend across a range of organisations.
Jacob will be relocating with his family from Seattle, WA to London. The appointment reflects Faculty’s high ambitions for future growth and follows the £40m funding led by APAX Digital in May 2021.
