Avi Medical, a leading provider in digital healthcare solutions, has announced the appointment of Michael Becher as its new Chief People Officer. Following an extensive global search for an exceptional leader in human resources, Michael’s profound expertise in leading multifaceted HR teams and driving organisational transformation made him the standout choice for this pivotal role.
Michael brings over a decade of experience in various HR leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Chief People Officer at wefox, where he was responsible for talent acquisition, employee experience, leadership and organisational development, internal communication, and total rewards among other key HR functions.
Prior to wefox, Michael held the position of Global Head of Employee Experience, Leadership & Organisational Development at N26 Group. There, he led the global HR business partner team and advised senior leadership on all employee-related topics. His responsibilities included spearheading organisational transformation, driving diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives, and implementing performance management frameworks.
In his new role at Avi Medical, Michael will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s HR functions. This includes talent acquisition, employee development, organisational culture, and HR operations. His leadership will be pivotal in driving Avi Medical’s mission to revolutionise digital healthcare and foster a workplace environment that attracts and retains top talent.
