Founded in 2018, Avantia is looking to disrupt the world of legal services. Avantia’s mission is to build a tech-powered, next-generation legal services business. Spun out of Oxford University’s R&D lab, Avantia is leading the way in legal services innovation. They combine tailor made services, expert lawyers who understand businesses and custom-built AI technology. To date, Avantia has raised seed funds from world-class Venture Capital firm Hoxton Ventures (Deliveroo, Algomi, Yieldify, Darktrace, Preply) as well as involvement from prominent angel investors.

OUR PARTNERSHIP

Partnering with the Founder and early investors with organisational design, helping to define structure, sequencing and the broader hiring strategy plan.

• Supported the Founder with hiring a COO and Technical Co-Founder to help transition the business from a services-led organisation to an AI-led, tech-enabled, product-led proposition.
• Developing Avantia’s story, and attracting experienced, tier-one operators into a unique, early-stage venture required a specific approach with thoughtful assessment and qualification of the right talent to join a business at this stage.
