Founded by David Rodriguez, Pierre Lecat and Jordan Gendre in Paris, Ray Studios is a new-generation Tattoo removal studio. With a mission to revolutionise the practice, Ray Studios deploys hydraulic acoustic wave technology in its “Le Ray Spark” treatment device, the product of 23 years of R&D, accelerating skin regeneration by 63%. Combined with a tech-enabled experience, customers coming to Ray Studios will have to do on average half the sessions that they would at a conventional laser clinic. Early investors include Nickleby Capital, Gaingels, AirAngels, Kima Ventures and True.
In our partnership with Ray Studios, we worked with the founder and CEO, David Rodriguez, from the very earliest stages, building out an employer brand from only an idea and a name in the capacity of talent advisor. We first oversaw the identification and assessment of the Co-Founder, before helping Ray build the company with key leadership hires and establishing the organisational foundations necessary for rapid scale.

Working with Thomas and Faraday Partners was instrumental to putting Ray studios on the path to success from the start. Over time, we’ve built a trustful relationship that now goes well beyond key talent identification.
Most early stage businesses tend to underestimate how game changing it can be to get the help from experienced professionals who have an alignment of interest with the founders, in order to create the right organisational set-up from the get-go.
